Any Local 800 member may nominate someone to be an Officer or Trustee. You may nominate a colleague or yourself for a position. All nominees will be contacted for confirmation that they are willing to run and serve.
Nominations may be submitted in the following ways:
- E-mail all relevant information to [email protected] by 9:00 AM, Wednesday Feb. 22.
- Attend a General Membership (Zoom) Meeting on Thursday February 23, 6:45 PM

(1) OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES

- President
- Vice-President
- Chief Shop Steward
- Treasurer
- Recording Secretary
- Corresponding Secretary
Non-Board Position: 3 trustees to conduct a yearly audit of the local’s finances.
(2) Worksite Representatives
Nominations for Worksite Representatives may be made only by members who work for the same Employer and are in the same job category (“Professional” or “Support Staff”) as the nominee. If you are unsure of your job category (“Professional” or “Support” is determined by your Employer), write us at [email protected]. The differentiation between “Professional” and “Support” staff is made, for E-Board representation, to allow people with diverse job needs and issues to be represented on the Board.
